Katherine Heigl opens up to the world regarding her "white bubble childhood" and how it has influenced how she raises the children of her adoptive parents who are multiracial. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl revealed she was not concerned about the color of her skin until she got to know her adoptive sister who was from South Korea. I asked Meg if when she was out with her parents, she was treated with a specific manner while out on her own she received a different treatment. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" That made me realize that I was naive," Heigl said to her parents. She became enraged by the incident, and decided to make use of her anger to help her adopted daughters. Heigl has a four-year old son with her 13-year wife, Josh Kelley. The couple took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8), who is black in 2009.
